Hi, I'm Laura and thank you for visiting my site
Before talking about some of the most personal aspects of your life, your needs, priorities, goals, aspirations and of course, your money. It's only natural to want to know a little about the person you'll be speaking to.
I'm mother to 2 boys, aged 15 years old and 6 years old. Being their mum is my greatest responsibility, so it feels only right to start there.
Before becoming a mother, I worked as a Premier Relationship Manager for a high street bank and was qualified in both mortgage and financial advice.
In 2010, my eldest son was born with a rare genetic skin disorder called Lamellar Ichthyosis. The intensive medical care he needed meant I had to step away from my career in finance at that time.
During that period, I retrained as a Life Coach in 2012. In 2015, I qualified as a Corporate and Executive Coach, and furthered my development through NLP training with the co-founder of NLP — John Grinder.
This chapter of my life sparked a deep interest in personal development, human potential and the idea that with clarity and intention, people can make conscious choices to shape the life they truly want to live.
In 2021, I returned to the world of finance, updating my qualifications to meet the current regulatory standards.
Today, I combine my background in finance with my experience in coaching to create space for my clients to explore what really matters to them first, before building financial clarity and a clear roadmap to support the life they want to live.
My work is deliberately focused on planning and understanding rather than selling financial products.
I am particularly passionate about supporting women, because despite progress, women still face a significant gap when it comes to financial security. In the UK, women hold around 29% of invested assets and typically have around 30% less in their pension pots than men.
Helping women build confidence with money, develop strong financial foundations and feel equipped to make decisions about their future is work that matters deeply to me.
